Local and international Companies
Our group works with Politechnico di Coimbra (Portugal) and Stryde company (UK, Kazakhstan). Professor of Politechnico di Coimbra, Nuno Ferreira Miguel Fonseco, is a leading Smart robotics researcher and supervises KBTU students on smart robotics. Stryde company supports research in IoT for seismic exploration and resilient city projects.
The IoT Lab is working with SpaceLab and the leader is Arman Bekembayev.
SpaceLab is a Kazakhstani company in the field of space technology production, specializing in the creation of satellite IoT terminals and the development of the Internet of Very Important Things (IoVIT) ecosystem for the prevention of natural disasters (earthquakes, floods and forest fires) and provides communication for industrial facilities in remote locations.
The company is also engaged in the production of high-temperature 3D printers for industrial applications, capable of printing with engineering plastics such as PEEK and ULTEM.The company has contracted, developed and supplied a product device for monitoring the angle of rotation / percentage of opening or closing of a valve in oil and gas production for two of the five largest oil and gas companies in the world.
Among the international achievements of SpaceLab, the company is recognized as one of the top five in the field of space technology in the capital of Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, and entered the top 15 in California.
Today, SpaceLab's clients include the oil and gas sector, Astana International University, Nazarbayev University, and Eurasian University.
