“ Technology and Innovation for Achieving SDGs ”

The conference organizing committee, including the Department of Sustainable Development Goals of the Academy of Corporate Education of the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) invites students, master's degree students and doctoral students to take part in the international workshop “Technology and Innovation for Achieving SDGs ” May 21, 2025, at KBTU as part of the International Scientific and Technical Conference "Colloids and Nanotechnology in Industry". 

Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students are invited to submit posters on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in technology and innovation. The SDGs are global targets set by the UN to achieve sustainable development by 2030. 

The SDGs include such important areas as ending poverty, fighting hunger, ensuring health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and green energy, decent work and economic growth, innovation and infrastructure, reducing inequality, developing sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, combating climate change, preserving marine and terrestrial ecosystems, peace and justice, as well as partnerships to achieve the goals. 

 

The fifth workshop will be held on May 21, 2025 (offline, in KBTU) and is dedicated to the challenges that research and industry face in reaching SDG.

Each participant should identify which of these goals is most relevant to their research or project and include the corresponding SDG topic in their poster. This will help raise awareness of your research and highlight its contribution to global sustainability initiatives.

To participate, you must fill out the registration form and attach the files below via the Link : 

  1. Theses in Word format, A4, font 12, Times New Roman , single line spacing, 2-4 pages, indicating the Project Title, Author's Full Name and the University Name. Language: English 

  2. Poster as MS power file point : A1 format, vertical. Download the poster sample from the link

Publication and review: 

All abstracts and posters undergo international expert review. After the presentation, abstracts will be published in the collection of the international workshop and assigned an ISBN number. 

Mandatory conditions: 

Registration and submission deadline of abstracts/posters via the link until May 19, 2025, 23:00 

Personal poster presentation Online or Offline: May 21, 2025, 14:00 - 15:00, room 726. A link to online participation will be sent to the participant upon request.
