Kazakh-British Technical University wins OSCE-supported 'Green office' competition

The Kazakh-British Technical University was included in the list of winners of the national competition "Green Office 2021" in the field of education. On October 22, the award ceremony for the winners was held in Nur-Sultan. The award was received on behalf of KBTU by the acting rector (chairman of the board) Gabdullin Maratbek Tulebergenovich.

The competition has been held since 2019 with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan and the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ten nominations, where representatives of government agencies, education, healthcare, trade participate and trade structures, industry, international organizations, NGOs, etc. can take part.

The goals of the competition are to promote an ecological lifestyle, "green" and low-carbon technologies, improve the environmental friendliness, comfort and ergonomics of public buildings, disseminate best practices and technological solutions of advanced experience, branding of environmentally responsible organizations.
