KBTU Sustainability and Innovation Report

The research focuses on the development of solutions for implementing solar and wind energy systems within the urban environment of Almaty and surrounding regions. The project aims to support sustainable urban development through the integration of renewable energy technologies and innovative energy-efficient approaches.

Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) actively implements energy-saving technologies across its academic buildings and facilities. The university has fully transitioned to 100% LED lighting, significantly reducing energy consumption and improving operational efficiency. Automated lighting control systems are also integrated throughout campus facilities.
