A master class was held on the topic: "Cyber intelligence and cybersecurity according to the national and European assessment and certification scheme"

On June 21, 2024, a master class was held on the topic: “Cyberanalytics and Cybersecurity in accordance with national and European assessment and certification schemes: opportunities of the laboratories of the Italian company iPS Visionary Intelligence.”

The event was organized jointly with the University of Salerno (Italy), KBTU project groups (KBTU SDG Center), and the School of Information Technology and Engineering.

During the seminar, national and European cybersecurity assessment and certification schemes were presented, along with methods of open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media analytics. Participants also explored automated approaches to using social networks, the Deep Web, and the Dark Web for target profiling and trend detection. In addition, methods for identifying fake news and propaganda were discussed, as well as real-world applications of cyberanalytics in various fields, ranging from national security to large corporate operations. Special attention was given to the Medusa platform, which is capable of detecting cyberattacks, as well as predicting their surges and monitoring organized crime activity.

The speakers also introduced the fundamentals of reverse engineering used to detect fraud in financial transactions. At the conclusion of the master class, participants received certificates of participation from the organizers.
