Press-release: Change Management Workshop

[Almaty, March 4, 2026] — The SDG Projects Department of the Academy of Corporate Education at the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU ACE) announces the successful completion of a specialized workshop on Change Management. The workshop was focused on implementing international transformation standards into business processes and was hosted by Aizhan Zhantayeva, a certified Change Management expert and a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP). Notably, in 2025, Aizhan Zhantayeva also conducted an intensive course for Afghan TVET students studying at KBTU as part of a UNDP project.

The workshop program was designed for leaders and managers striving to effectively guide organizations through periods of transformation. It covered key aspects of the Change Management methodology, including:

Strategic Planning: Utilizing tools to analyze current states and design future outcomes.

Managing Resistance: Psychological and organizational techniques to overcome barriers during innovation implementation.

Communications: Building effective engagement with all stakeholders.

Hosted by the SDG Projects Department, this workshop directly contributed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 4 (Quality Education): Providing access to advanced international knowledge and professional certifications.

SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): Enhancing workforce skills and organizational efficiency through professional change management.

SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Strengthening cooperation with international institutions such as the Association for Change Management Professionals (ACMP).

All participants were awarded certificates from the KBTU Academy of Corporate Education.

The Academy congratulates all participants on mastering global best practices. Aizhan Zhantayeva noted the high level of engagement and the participants' drive for professional growth, confirming the vital relevance of change management in Kazakhstan’s modern corporate sector.
