About the Call for Grant
The SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals is a nine-month development programme designed to activate young talent within companies that are part of the UN Global Compact network. It is not an open application for individual students or startups. The programme focuses on driving business innovation that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by empowering employees to develop scalable, tech-driven solutions within their current organizations. - Employment Status: Applicants MUST be full-time employees at a company that is a participating member of the UN Global Compact.
- Nomination: Candidates are nominated by their company (typically 2-4 employees per team).
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Role: High-performing young professionals interested in business model innovation, sustainability, and disruptive technologies.
- Location: The programme is offered through specific 'Global Compact Country Networks'. Applicants should check if the UN Global Compact network in their country is currently running the programme.

📅 Timeline & Process:
- Cycle: Annual. The application window for the 2026 cohort closed on January 31, 2026.
- Engagement: If a user works for a large company (e.g., a major bank, telecom, or industrial player in Kazakhstan), they should contact their CSR or HR department to see if their company is a member of the UN Global Compact and if they can be nominated for the next cycle.
