A Hungarian who grew up in Germany, Zoltan earned his first degree in Law at the London School of Economics (UK). His practice orientation and strong interest in the real dilemmas of people management prompted him to complete a Global MBA at CASS Business School (UK). After the fall of the Iron Curtain, he returned to Hungary to earn a Ph.D., focusing on the strategic challenges in transition economies. Parallel to his academic work, his hobby to meeting people and developing new, forward-looking management concepts and value-based leadership development solutions.

At various European Business Schools since 2000, his flagship courses are “Leadership”, “Competitiveness” and “Design Thinking and he directed globally accredited MBA Programs.

 

Guided by the motto "Learning, Leading, Leapfrogging", Zoltan has a quarter-century of experimentation and innovation at the interface of Leadership Practices & Values, Applied Psychology, and Strategic Management: He has authored several global-award-winning teaching case studies and has extensive practical experience as a team and executive coach. 

His current research focuses on increasing Competitiveness through better management and by finding more Flow at work, combining it with Self-Development and Change Management processes, aiming to further Leadership Development that is applicable in different cultural and situational contexts. These new insights can be ideally used for Talent Management and Staffing Strategies based on modern big-data and predictive HR analysis via gamification.
