Project Management Workshop

On January 16, 2024, an online workshop on project management will be held, featuring highly qualified speakers: Professor Ornella Malandrino, Director of the Department of Management at the University of Salerno's Innovative Systems, and Professor Mirko Perno, the scientific coordinator of K.R.E.S.S.M.

This event serves as a strategic bridge between the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) and the University of Salerno, aiming to foster international academic synergy and strengthen KBTU’s global research footprint. Participants from KBTU include members of the Business School, the Department of Scientific Organization, the Department of Design and Planning, as well as professors and administration.

The workshop will feature two distinct sessions designed to transition from institutional overviews to practical collaboration. The first session will cover detailed information about the University of Salerno, the Department of Management and Innovative Systems, the K.R.E.S.S.M. center, and the international research center. A primary focus of this session is the advancement of doctoral candidates, featuring deep-dive discussions on research topics, international research groups, and the rigorous requirements for publishing in Q1 journals.

The second session will pivot toward actionable cooperation, focusing on collaborative workshops and the logistics of two-week courses hosted at Unisa. These initiatives are designed to facilitate cross-cultural academic exchange and provide faculty and students with direct access to European educational standards.

The keynote speakers, who are experts with years of experience in both global industry and leading universities worldwide, will guide participants through the complexities of modern project management. By merging theoretical excellence with real-world application, this workshop aims to establish long-term international research groups capable of co-authoring innovative solutions to complex industrial challenges. This collaboration ensures that the research conducted by KBTU doctoral students and faculty remains competitive and aligned with the highest international standards.
