On 19 April, KBTU held a specialised session on the relevant topic of the ESG landscape. "ASPECTS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, INNOVATIONS, AND SUSTAINABILITY METRICS."

ESG is the concept of ethical business practices based on the principles of environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) responsibility. It aims to reduce negative impacts on the environment and social spheres, enhance transparency, and ensure strong corporate governance.

The Technical Day was organised by the Project Management Office of KBTU.

In his welcoming speech, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of KBTU, Didar Galymovich Batryshev, highlighted the high level of expertise of the event and emphasised that KBTU, being one of the leading educational and scientific centres in the region, has all the necessary accreditations and a high potential to develop market-demanded innovations on its own laboratory base.

The event concluded with a tour of the advanced, specialised laboratories for participants of the Technical Day.
